FAMiliarisation Trips

We only use shooting & hunting areas that we know well through our friends/partners!

At times PH’s (professional Hunters) move or gain access to new hunting areas which we may not have hunted ourselves.

Before we organise an itinerary for our guests, we like to know and experience the camps & lodges and the shooting terrains & hunting landscapes areas so we can fully portray the details.

Therefore, we organise ‘familiarisation trips’ to these new camps / lodges and areas to acquaint ourself with the aesthetics and landscapes!

Africa being the vast size it is, lends itself to exploratory itineraries…and we are always looking for new Driven Wild Boar and Chamois hunting locations…

Short Notice

Seldom do we have trips and itineraries that have been cancelled but when we do, they are often extremely good value, having been tried and tested, and partially paid for!

Our Driven Grouse, Wild Boar and Spanish Partridge shooting are often booked a year in advanced by returning loyal guests with full teams, creating a ‘dead man shoes’ situation – if dates do become available, we often call members, with established teams, directly for a quick / short notice answer knowing if we don’t, the opportunity will be lost...

DRIVEN GOUSE SHOOTING

This is as true for driven grouse shooting, as anything else…with fluctuating breeding grouse numbers from season to season, and due to high demand, we organise shooting teams early so that when shooting estates and moors realise a harvestable surplus, from a successful breeding season, we are able to quickly reserve these shooting days for our guests!

Special Products

We often promote products that are either a sustainable conservation by-product or directly support sustainable use wildlife conservation through a financial contribution.

All our shooting / hunting days, trips and itineraries contribute and/or make a direct financial contribution to the sustainable use cause i.e. directly to the biodiversity conservation effort and/or the local community!!

Principled Matters

THE GOOD FIGHT

We feel we have a moral obligation, as conservation hunters, to not only heed by the principles of ‘sustainable use for wildlife conservation’ (SUWC) but to emphasise, strengthen and further educate the importance of science-led, community based, sustainable utilisation of wildlife resources for ‘biodiversity net gain’ conservation!

…and periodically we might bring to your attention, the projects and campaigns Sybarite Sporting supports, through the SUWC, and encourage the ‘like-minded’ to actively follow and hopefully support our efforts!

“The wildlife of today is not ours to dispose of as we please.

We have it in trust. We must account for it to those who come after.”
